Refund Not Credited to My Fyatu Card

Updated this week

You got a refund… but the money isn’t showing up on your card yet? Don’t worry — it happens, and here’s why:

✅ First, good news:

No matter which Fyatu card you’re using, they all can receive refunds from merchants you paid online. But…

Fyatu can’t control how or when a merchant sends a refund. And we can’t block it either. So if the refund hasn’t arrived yet, it might be because:

  • The merchant hasn’t started the refund yet.

  • The refund is still being processed by the merchant’s bank.

  • Our partner bank hasn’t received the refund instruction yet.

🤔 What to do in each case:

🔸 Merchant hasn’t started the refund?

Just wait. Some merchants take a few days (or longer) to begin the process. It depends on their refund policy.

🔸 Refund is in progress?

Hang tight! It usually takes 2 to 5 business days for the money to land back on your card.

🔸 Refund done but not showing up?

This one’s tricky. The merchant might have sent the refund, but our partner bank hasn’t completed it yet. In this case:

  1. Ask the merchant for proof of refund (called a refund trace ID).

  2. Send that proof to Fyatu’s support team.

  3. Wait while we check with the bank and track where the refund is stuck.

💡 Heads-up: Since this happens outside our system, it might take a few days to fully resolve.

💬 Pro tip:

For easier refunds, consider using services like PayPal. They're really good at helping in case of disputes between buyers and sellers.
